AI SEO
When customers ask AI instead of Google, does it name you?
More people now ask ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Google's own AI who to call, rather than scrolling a page of results. The answer names one or two businesses.
If yours is not one of them, you will not know — there is no report that tells you a customer asked and heard someone else's name.
One answer instead of ten links
A search engine shows ten results, and a business in sixth place still gets seen. An AI answer is different. It reads what it can find, decides what it trusts, and writes a short reply that mentions a handful of names — often just one.
That changes what losing looks like. On Google, losing means a lower position. In an AI answer, losing means not being mentioned at all, and nothing tells you it happened.
The business owners who notice this first are usually the ones whose customers start saying "I asked ChatGPT and it suggested someone else."
What AI draws on
Nobody outside the companies that build these systems knows exactly how they choose which sources to cite. Anyone who claims to is guessing, or selling. What is known is that some things consistently help, and they are not mysterious.
Pages that answer one question clearly. A page that tries to cover everything gives an AI nothing specific to quote. A page that answers one question plainly, in a sentence or two, is exactly the shape an AI answer is built from.
Structured data. Code on the page that states plainly what it is — a business, a service, a question and its answer — rather than leaving a machine to work it out from the prose. It is invisible to visitors and legible to software.
The same details everywhere. Your business name, what you do, where you are, described consistently across your website, your Google listing and the directories that mention you. Consistency is how software becomes confident that several mentions refer to one business rather than several uncertain ones.
Being mentioned by others. Reviews, directory listings, articles that name you. An AI is more likely to repeat what several independent sources agree on than what only your own website says.
What the work actually is
Most of it is SEO done carefully, with the answer in mind rather than only the ranking.
Pages restructured so each one answers a specific question. Structured data added so software can read what each page is. Your business details made consistent across the site, the Google Business Profile and your listings. And the steady work of being mentioned in more places over time.
It is not sold separately. The work that earns search rankings is largely the work that earns AI visibility, so it is part of the same monthly SEO work rather than an extra line on the invoice. The packages and their prices are on the SEO services page.
What nobody can promise
A guaranteed mention. No agency controls what an AI says. Anyone offering a guarantee that ChatGPT will recommend you is promising something they cannot deliver.
A ranking report. Search Console shows where you appear on Google. There is no equivalent for AI answers yet. What can be measured — search visibility, structured data, listing consistency — is measured and reported. What cannot be measured is not dressed up as if it could be.
Speed. The work that helps is the same slow, compounding work that helps search. It builds over months, not days.
AI SEO questions
Questions we get asked
What is AI SEO?
The work that makes a business more likely to be named when someone asks an AI tool — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Google's AI answers — for a recommendation, rather than searching a list of results.
Is AI SEO different from regular SEO?
Less than most agencies suggest. Clear pages, structured data, consistent business details and being mentioned elsewhere help with both. What differs is that an AI names one or two businesses instead of listing ten.
Can you guarantee ChatGPT will recommend my business?
No, and nobody honestly can. No agency controls what an AI says. The work improves the odds; it does not guarantee the outcome.
How do I know if AI is mentioning my business?
Ask it — the questions your customers would ask, in the words they would use. There is no reporting tool for AI answers yet, so checking by hand is the most reliable method available.
Is AI SEO sold separately?
No. It is part of the same monthly SEO work, because the work that earns search rankings is largely the work that earns AI visibility. The packages are on the SEO services page.
How long does it take?
The same as SEO — months rather than days. The work compounds over time rather than producing an overnight change.
